Computer Education

Computer classes may be offered through cooperative arrangements with North Dakota Center for Distance Education (NDCDE). Credit cannot be given for a course until NDCDE issues a student grade indicating completion of the course. The course description is taken from the NDCDE course catalogue.

Computer Fundamentals – NDCDE In this introductory course, students will become familiar with the basic principles of a personal computer, including the internal hardware, the operating system, and software applications. Students will gain practice in using key applications such as word processors, spreadsheets and presentation software. Students will focus on the fundamentals, learning and using the applications, and understanding the basic roles and responsibilities of the software, hardware, and operating system.
